The "Priesterseminar Sankt Georgen" is an interdiocesan Seminary for the training of catholic priests for different German Dioceses. The institution is situated in a beautiful park at the outskirts of the vibrant city of Frankfurt am Main and maintained by the Society of Jesus (commonly referred to as 'Jesuits') with the financial support of several German Bishops.  

44 Seminarians of five dioceses belong to the Seminary during the current academic year 2009/10. 39 seminarians form the actual community life on campus. According to the German custom of studying one year outside the seminary the remainig five members follow their studies in differnent places of Europe (Innsbruck [A], Dublin [IRL] and Padavoa [I]). In addition 20 priests from different parts of the world are studying and living at Sankt Georgen in order to complete postgraduate studies at the theological faculty of the "Philosophisch-Theologiche Hochschule Sankt Georgen".
